バーゼル条約とは

　Basel Convention on the Control of Transboundary Movements of Hazardous Wastes and their Disposal

1989年3月、国連環境計画（UNEP）によりスイスのバーゼルにて採択された条約であり、有害廃棄物の国際間移動およびその処分を規制するものである。1992年5月5日に正式に発効した。
